I’m Kayla Rajib, the photographer behind Roar Photos, based in Salem, New Hampshire, serving New Hampshire and the Boston North Shore of Massachusetts. I specialize in fine art children’s and family photography, commercial brand imagery for small shops and children’s designers, and one-on-one mentoring for photographers. I also co-own NH Photo Studios in Manchester, New Hampshire, a shared studio space used for both my own sessions and rentals for other photographers.

I attended school for early childhood and began my career working in daycare and as a toddler teacher, and I now also run an in-home childcare program. I transitioned into photography after the birth of my son, Rory, the inspiration behind the name Roar Photos. That background continues to shape the way I work with children, giving me a strong understanding of their needs, personalities, and how to guide them in a way that feels natural while still creating beautifully composed images.

I offer one-on-one mentoring for photographers, both in person and online. Sessions cover lighting, composition, styling, posing, camera settings, and editing. Mentoring is tailored to each photographer’s work and goals, with a focus on building a style that feels consistent and your own.

My work blends a fine art approach with both family and commercial photography. For brands, I create cohesive, elevated imagery that aligns with their aesthetic and supports their marketing. For children and families, I take a more personal approach, incorporating details that matter to them and creating moments that reflect their story. Each image is thoughtfully styled, intentionally composed, and carefully hand edited to become a timeless heirloom.
