I’m Kayla Rajib, the artist and mentor behind Roar Photos, based in Southern New Hampshire. My love for photography has always come from noticing the little things—the way light falls, color, small details and little moments. I’m drawn to imagery that feels intentional, nostalgic, and a little bit magical, where the final image feels like a piece of art.

My journey into photography began after the birth of my son, Rory, who inspired the name Roar Photos. Before photography, I studied early childhood education and worked as a toddler teacher. That experience continues to shape the way I see and create, teaching me to appreciate the individuality of children, the beauty in everyday moments, and the importance of understanding the small details.

Today, my focus is on my own personal artistic work and teaching other photographers through in-person mentoring and online education. I teach lighting, composition, styling, posing, camera settings, and editing, while helping photographers refine their creative eye, develop their own style, and feel more confident in their work. My goal is to help others understand not just how to create an image, but how to bring their own vision to life.

I believe there is always something new to discover through photography, and I love being able to share what I’ve learned along the way. Whether through my art or my teaching, I hope to inspire others to slow down, see things a little differently, and create work that feels meaningful to them.
